Baggage Door Stop Kit

We all have had that annoying issue of the baggage door not doing what it’s supposed to! The original door hinges were built with a mechanism to keep them open, and by and large they never work properly causing annoyance and inconvenience. This pneumatic strut will save your baggage door from overextension and damage from wind or bungee cords. Installation is a minor alteration; the kit includes everything needed including instructions and hardware. The durable stainless steel Ameritool® gas spring is extremely gentle at 5lbs of force (our main cabin door hinge is 80lbs), just enough to keep the door open when you need it and compresses with ease without straining the hinges.
